If medication is agreed, we provide private prescriptions for at least the first 3 months while the effects and any side effects are closely monitored and the dose is optimised. Pharmacy costs vary — these controlled drugs typically cost between £30 and £50 for one month's supply.
After 3 months, if your child (or you, as an adult) are stable on medication, we can ask the GP to take over prescribing under Shared Care. The GP is not obliged to agree, but most do. Dr Cassie remains responsible for medication monitoring via 6-monthly reviews.

All invoices must be settled within 2 weeks of the date of issue. We accept payment by BACS transfer and card. A 1.5% transaction fee applies to payments over £1,000.00. Patients with outstanding accounts are seen at the clinician's discretion.
We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Less notice incurs up to 50% of the total fee. No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice result in the full fee being charged. Monday appointments must be cancelled by noon on the Thursday prior. Fees may be waived in exceptional circumstances.
